In September 2020 the Community, Rights and Gender Department conducted a survey amongst community and civil society stakeholders to assess levels of community engagement in the development of funding requests for the Global Funds COVID Response Mechanism 2020. Results of that survey were used to inform processes used for additional funding made available in 2021.
This survey is being repeated as part of a range of measures to assess community engagement in C19RM 2021 and to inform changes in any future processes.
The survey has two primary objectives:
- To understand how communities engaged during the C19RM 2021 process including who was engaged in the process
- To further provide recommendations on how to improve meaningful community engagement in future processes
Community and civil society engagement is critical in ensuring that these investments focus on those most impacted by tuberculosis, malaria, HIV and most effectively mitigate the effects of COVID on access to critical services to which these communities have a right.
The survey will take less than 15 minutes and your responses will be extremely valuable in refining processes moving forward.
The deadline to fill the survey is
Wednesday 24th November at the latest.
