Objectives

To introduce participants to the New Funding Model (NFM4) of the Global Fund, its key components and the importance of community participation.
To discuss opportunities for technical support to enhance civil society and community engagement during NFM4 through short-term technical assistance available under the Global Fund’s Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (formerly known as the Community, Rights and Gender Strategic Initiative).
Introduce the tool for developing targeted short-term technical assistance program applications for the new Global Fund NFM4 funding model and the LAC Platform support mechanism.
