Objectives

  • To introduce participants to the New Funding Model (NFM4) of the Global Fund, its key components and the importance of community participation.
  • To discuss opportunities for technical support to enhance civil society and community engagement during NFM4 through short-term technical assistance available under the Global Fund’s Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (formerly known as the Community, Rights and Gender Strategic Initiative).
  • Introduce the tool for developing targeted short-term technical assistance program applications for the new Global Fund NFM4 funding model and the LAC Platform support mechanism.
